LIGHTHOUSES

The lighthouses in Sardinia are true architectural gems set in breathtaking landscapes. Located along rugged coastlines, on rocky promontories, or on remote islands, these lighthouses are not only essential tools for navigation but also symbols of history and tradition. Built mainly between the 19th and 20th centuries, many of them feature stone or brick structures, often painted white with red or black details to enhance visibility. Today, some Sardinian lighthouses have been renovated and transformed into charming tourist accommodations or cultural centers, offering a unique experience that combines nature, history, and tranquility.
